Located on the 2nd storey of Raffles Hotel Arcade, adjacent to the world-famous Long Bar, Long Bar Steakhouse cleverly combines steakhouse dining with the nostalgia and simple, honest flavours of early plantation fare.

Inspired by the legendary exploits of Frank Cavendish, an adventurous planter who retreated to Raffles Hotel every weekend in the early 1900s as a respite from the rigours of plantation life in Malaya, the house specialities are succulent prime cuts of meat and seafood, marinated with the flavours of the Orient.

The Casuarina Suite is named after Somerset Maugham's volume of short stories, The Casuarina Tree. The elegant decor and tastefully appointed furnishings are designed for maximum style and comfort. East India Rooms
