Phouiu Bungalows

Located away from Muang Sing’s main drag, this collection of airy cottages made us want to move in permanently. The large rooms of solid woven bamboo construction let the air in and make a great change from white concrete. Make no mistake, these are not budget cottages with mattresses on the floor, as the rooms are well furnished and clean. The sunsets, as with most everywhere in Laos, are spectacular. If it’s within your budget then it’s a must.
