A couple of these colonial-era trading houses have been lovingly restored to house the boutique Hotel INTHIRA. Its street-side Café & Bar, which features a modern artistic interior, overlooks the historical town square with the traditional water fountain (nam phou) hosting (in future) a nightly food and handicraft bazaar. The square borders the Mekong River and faces the town of Nakhorn Phanom on the Thai side, which is beautifully illuminated at nighttime

How to Get There
Arrival from Vientiane to Inthira Sikhotabong, Thakhek
By car: Drive along Road No. 13 passing Pakngum and Paksan Provinces, Total distance is 375 kilometers. Alternatively, it is possible to travel via Nakhon Panom.

Private transportation can be arranged from Wattay Airport or from your Hotel in Vientiane to Inthira Hotel, Sikhotabong, please Contact for details. The trip takes approximately 4:30 hrs. (Please give us 48-HOURS advanced notice before your arrival)
