City Resort Overview
This brand-new hotel is an attractive new presence in Taichung hospitality market, featuring a unique modern Chinese decor theme. This extends to its 98 rooms, which mix dark wood with subdued Chinese gold, green, yellow and red colors. Ideally located in Beitun district, near ZhongQing (ChungChing) Road, the Feng Chia University area and the freeway, it faces the large Dunhua Park--another pleasant plus. Focused on local and foreign tourists, it offers good value with standard rooms currently available for NT$2,800 (plus 10%) to the end of June (booked via hotel website). This includes a complimentary Western/Chinese buffet breakfast in its second-floor restaurant, which can also accomodate dinner parties with a three-day reservation.
