Rawai Beach Introduction

Rawai Beach lies next to Ao Rawai, a little to the east of Prom Thep Cape (Laem Phrom Thep) and south of Friendship beach at the southern end of Phuket.

Rawai Beach is not suitable for bathing, the water is shallow and rocky, and the beach itself is a mixture of shingle and sand. What Rawai Beach does offer is a taste of authentic Phuket fishing and good local food served from various stalls next to the beach. A number of stands selling sea shells also line the path behind the beach.

Rawai Beach has good views of various islands, Koh Bon, Koh He (Coral Island), Koh Lon and Koh Aeo, with Koh Racha Yai in the distance.
