Bukit Mertajam Introduction
Bukit Mertajam is the capital of Central Seberang Perai, Penang, Malaysia. It is commonly known as BM among its locals. The historical St. Anne's Church is situated in Bukit Mertajam. Bukit Mertajam High School (established 18 January, 1927) and Jit Sin High School, which are among the top-performing schools in the country, are also located in Bukit Mertajam. BM High School is also a former school of former Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
