Layang-Layang Island Introduction
Layang-Layang, known as "Swallows Reef" is an atoll situated in the South China Sea 300km north-west of Kota Kinabalu. The island is man-made and was constructed for the Malaysian Navy and later developed for the only dive resort, Layang-Layang Island Resort.
How to Get There
The city of Kota Kinabalu is your gateway to Borneo. It is easily accessible by Malaysia Airlines from London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, New York, and Los Angeles (with easy add-on flights from all US cities)
.If flying to Tawau, Sandakan, or Layang Layang, you may be required to spend the first and last nights of your stay in Kota Kinabalu because of the boat times to and from each resort. We offer pre and post package stays in Kota Kinabalu including airport transfers and hotel accommodations.
