Location
Located on the Northern Tip of Borneo, nestled between the backdrop emerald of Borneo's first 18-hole championship Golf Course and the Sapphire Blue waters of Marudu Bay. Kudat was the first capital city of Sabah. A journey to Kudat will take you through picturesque scenery of Villages, Paddy fields, Palm oil and Coconut plantation, and the tranquility of unspoiled country charm. Kudat's beautiful white sandy beaches stretch for miles and its sunsets are breathtakingly world class especially from the Islands of Balambangan and Banggi. Approximately 190 km or 3 hours away from the city of Kota Kinabalu, Kudat is definitely worth a visit.
Kudat is also well known for its seafood, available all year round which practically cost only a penny. Also, famous for its coconut industry, Kudat hosts Sabah's Annual Coconut Festival showcasing the industry's many products.
